Nicholas Scott are working with an award-winning highly ranked US law firm who are looking for a 3-6 PQE UK Qualified Solicitor to join their Project Finance team in their London office.

Requirements:

·  2:1 grade undergraduate bachelor’s degree from a strong UK or overseas equivalent university

·  Detailed understanding, based on practical experience, of project finance transactions and documentation, having advised lenders and/or borrowers on high value energy and natural resources projects

·  Attention to detail, high standards and an ability to perform high quality and accurate work proficiently, to tight deadlines with or without close supervision

·  Effective written and oral communication skills

·  Ability to manage and prioritise numerous and competing matters and to work well under pressure

·  Ability to interact professionally with clients, associates and other employees at all levels and to actively contribute to the development of the London office and the Global Projects Group

·  This role requires travel

Desirable:

· Experience of advising on projects in the energy sector (oil & gas, petrochemicals, renewables)

· Experience of multi-sourced project financings

· Experience of, or interest in, Africa and/or the Middle East as required

· Language skills relevant to Africa and/or the Middle East
